Booking Terms and Conditions

Booking Confirmation and Payment

All accommodation bookings will need to be confirmed on a Chalet La Savoyarde Booking Form and will need to include the following information:

  • your booking dates
  • number of people in your party (including children)
  • any additional/special requirements

All bookings made more than 8 weeks in advance will be held for up to 5 working days by which time we must have received a completed Booking Form and deposit.

Any booking made within 8 weeks of holiday date must be accompanied by a completed Booking Form and payment in full in order to confirm the booking. As soon as the full payment and booking form is received we will confirm your booking.

Upon receipt of your Booking Form we will issue you with an invoice (via PayPal) for:

  • a £100 deposit/person if booking more than 8 weeks in advance of holiday date (a final invoice for the outstanding amount due will be issued to you 8 weeks prior to the date of your stay)
  • payment in full if booking made within 8 weeks of the date of your stay

You will be notified of the final invoice date when we confirm your booking (on receipt of your deposit). You will be reminded again 2 weeks before your final invoice date. Your final invoice (via paypal) must be paid in full within 3 working days of receipt of our final email reminder (sent on the final invoice date if not already paid).  It is your responsibility to ensure that payment is received on time.  If payment is not received in full and on time we reserve the right to treat your booking as cancelled, which in turn will trigger the cancellation charges set out in section 4.

Special Requests/Requirements

Any special requests or requirements (e.g. dietary) should be clearly outlined on your Booking Form.

Wherever possible we will try to accommodate or comply with your request and will confirm this in writing. You will also be informed of any additional costs before the total booking amount is sent to you.

Insurance

It is the responsibility of the party to ensure that they have adequate insurance for their holiday.

Holiday Cancellation & Changes

Any cancellations or amendments to all or any part of your booking should be confirmed to us by email as soon as possible.

Changes or cancellations can only be accepted if made by the person who completed the original Booking Form.

Wherever possible will will endeavor to accommodate any changes.

In order to cover our costs (ie. not re-selling the holiday), the following scale of cancellation charges will apply. This excludes any purchases made by us on your behalf (ie.  Airport transfers, ski passes, etc…), which are non-refundable.

The cancellation charges are based upon a % charge of your total holiday cost and are as follows:

  • Over 8 weeks £100/person deposit
  • 4-8 weeks 50% of cost/person
  • 2-4 weeks 75% of cost/person
  • 0-2 weeks 100% of cost/person

Guest’s Behaviour

All guests are expected to behave with consideration to other guests. Should, in our opinion,  you or any member of your party behave in such a way as to cause, or to be likely to cause, distress, danger or annoyance to any third party (including other guests) or damage to the chalet or any of its contents, we reserve the right to terminate the holiday of the person concerned with immediate effect. In this extreme situation, our responsibilities towards that person (including any return transport arrangements) will immediately cease and we will not be held responsible for any costs or expenses they may incur as a result.  We will also not pay any compensation, or make any refunds to the individual involved, or to members of his/her party or associates that incur additional expense as a result of this action.

We are happy to accept smokers, however, for health and safetly reasons Chalet La Savoyarde is a ‘no smoking’ zone.  Smoking is permitted outside the Chalet which includes the balconies.  Smokers are requested to take extra care when extinguising their cigarettes.

Accidental Injury, Damage or Loss

We can accept no liability for any accident, personal injury or suffering arising for any reason within or on the grounds of Chalet La Savoyarde.

You should ensure that you are adequately insured both for personal injury and material loss/damage.

Guests must accept full responsibility for any damage or loss caused by themselves or any member of their  party to Chalet La Savoyarde or any of its contents. Full payment for any such damage or loss must be made to us immediately or no later than the final date of departure.
